Key Responsibilities:


- Perform blood draws and receive training in neuropsych testing, EEG placements, and blood sample processing.
- Assist in the coordination, implementation, and management of research projects, ensuring adherence to protocols, including maintaining regulatory documents, data management, and IRB submissions.

- Report and complete Serious Adverse Events and safety logs as required, ensuring compliance with FDA and sponsor guidelines.

- Collaborate with the study team to schedule site visits, webinars, monitoring, and close-out visits.

- Work with primary investigators and research staff to plan, conduct, and evaluate project protocols, including subject recruitment.

- Monitor and report on project progress, completing regulatory documents and data capture plans.

- Assist with protocol-related activities and maintain certification records for study personnel.

- Participate in the informed consent process and contribute to research project budget development.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or science-related field is preferred.

- Proficiency in various computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Must complete certification in Human Subjects Research within 90 days of hire.


Work Experience:
- A minimum of two years of clinical research or healthcare experience is required.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field may offset experience requirements.

- Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.


Physical Requirements:
- Requires dexterity for computer tasks and normal or corrected vision and hearing.
- Involves extensive sitting, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- May involve exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids and requires flexibility in working hours.
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position reflects the anticipated hourly rate for new hires, with actual compensation determined based on work history, experience, skill set, and education. This does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement options.
