Administrative Assistant I - Switchboard/Information Desk

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Operate and provide coverage for the switchboard/information desk.
  • Provide general information and assistance to students, staff, and campus visitors.
  • Assist with MyCSN and CSN website navigation.
  • Create reports and file documents.
  • Receive and distribute mail as needed with in our department.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of clerical experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records, answering telephones, and reviewing forms, documents, and other written materials; OR six months of experience as an Administrative Aid in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Scheduled Weekly Hours

Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.

Salary Range

Grade 23, Step 1 - $39, 421.44

Per Nevada Administrative Code (NAC , salaries for initial appointments for classified positions typically begin at Step 1.
