As a Client Development Specialist, you will partner with the Global Operations (GO) Team and firm partners to enhance and expand client relationships, particularly with complex clients like banks. You will assist Strategic Relationship Lead(s) in understanding client needs, executing growth strategies, and institutionalizing relationships. Collaboration with client teams will ensure the delivery of top-notch expertise, insights, and solutions across various sectors for revenue growth. This role is ideal for high achievers in professional services who can support lead strategists and client teams in implementing growth strategies and managing key clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist Strategic Relationship Lead and client leaders in executing growth plans, including participation in marketing activities and relationship management efforts.
  • Coordinate community and governance calls for clients and client groups.
  • Conduct research to support banking clients and internal teams, including market trends and client relationship data.
  • Contribute to business development goals by identifying leads and new growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate efforts across client accounts and team members, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Relationship Lead(s) to create a playbook of best practices for enhancing client relationships.
  • Support preparation for pitch meetings and networking events to gather business intelligence on key banking clients.
  • Utilize industry experience to identify innovative commercial opportunities.
  • Understand firm practice groups to identify synergies that can benefit client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of industry experience in areas like investment banking or management consulting.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of capital markets, M&A, and litigation.
  • Project management skills with a focus on organization and client workstream management.
  • Ability to analyze data, create presentations for executive stakeholders, and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in research and competitive intelligence to drive go-to-market strategies.
  • Adaptability, strong communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Exposure to Strategic Clients programs and key industries like Technology, Life Sciences, and Real Estate is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite with a willingness to learn new programs.
