We are a professional services firm that provides third-party retirement plan administration services for companies that sponsor Employee Stock Ownership (ESOPs) and 401(k) Plans. Our offices are located in Charlottesville, VA, Columbia, MD, Columbus, OH, Westchester, IL, Pasadena, CA and Maple Grove, MN, although our client base is nationwide. We are one of the top 2 companies that provide ESOP recordkeeping and administration services in the country, and we continue to grow our retirement services business (401(k), DB, CB, etc). We are seeking sharp, detail-oriented, dedicated individuals to join our team.

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst.

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will report directly to the VP of Finance & Accounting and will be responsible for supporting financial planning and strategy, forecasting, reporting and analysis activities as well as the accuracy and timeliness of such information. This position will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual analysis of actual results to better understand how they compare to forecasted/planned performance. Goals of analytic activities are to confirm current actions are achieving desired results, identify new areas for improvement or challenges to achieving desired results, and improving the overall capability of the various Corporate or Operational functions to forecast desired results.

Essential Functions

Assist in the monthly closing and financial reporting process as directed by the VP of Finance and Accounting. Perform financial analysis of the balance sheet and income statement Responsible for the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting and analysis including establishing disciplined processes related to requirements and timelines, preparation, automation initiatives, analysis and distribution. Facilitate ad-hoc reporting, querying and analysis requests related to a wide range of areas including revenue, gross profit margins, operating expenses, EBITDA, and cash flows. Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models supporting strategic business plans, annual budgets, and interim forecasts. Prepare financial presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors that provide the right information and insight to enable effective decision making. Assess process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency of FP&A processes while also increasing the informative value of the content provided to executive management. Develop strong proficiency in using SAGE Financial System and MS Power BI. Liaison with departmental teams for dashboard reporting and analysis support. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an Accredited University in Finance, Accounting, (or a comparable area of study). A minimum of 5 years of financial or operational experience in a related industry. Budgeting, forecasting and analysis experience required. Relevant experience leading process improvement. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage numerous projects. Willingness to occasionally work extended hours to meet budgetary and demanding project deadlines. Advanced proficiency level with MS Office 365 software, including but not limited to: Excel, Access, Power Point. Ability to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines Ability to work effectively in a small group environment, take direction from others, focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to required work schedules. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with others. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Benefits:
