Position Overview

Spencer Stuart is in search of a dedicated Analyst to join our esteemed Financial Services Practice, focusing on Consumer Financial Services. This role is pivotal within our team, providing essential support and insights.

Role Responsibilities

As an Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Associates, Senior Associates, and Consultants, acting as a key contributor in identifying client requirements and conducting relevant research that shapes our strategic approach.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough industry and functional analyses to support search strategies.
  • Creating detailed reports and talent pool mappings for ongoing search projects and internal discussions.
  • Gathering competitive intelligence, tracking trends across various sub-sectors, and developing lists of target companies and potential candidates.
  • Providing insightful research and conclusions that will be incorporated into polished, client-ready documents.
Over time, you will cultivate expertise in the industry by staying informed about trends and identifying leading figures in the field.

Key Relationships

You will report directly to the Director of Analysts and work alongside Associates and Consultants on various projects. Key relationships will also include interactions with Senior Associates and Executive Assistants.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing the fast-paced demands of the practice. Key qualifications include:
  • Up to two years of relevant experience in a professional services environment.
  • Strong academic credentials (3.4+ GPA), preferably in economics, business, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through internships, community service, or student organizations.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
