Job Summary
The Lead Financial Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role within the Finance Division, overseeing the organization's external financial reporting and performance assessment. Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring all disclosures and footnotes are accurate and comprehensive.

* Conducting thorough reviews of complex accounting regulations and applying these standards to intricate transactions across the organization.

* Generating detailed analyses for executive management to effectively communicate financial trends and issues.

* Performing in-depth accounting and reporting research, providing recommendations for critical accounting decisions.

* Implementing monthly financial closing procedures and maintaining robust internal controls.

* Providing ongoing financial support to various departments, preparing regular reports and conducting ad-hoc analyses as required.

Job Responsibilities

1. **Reporting**: Ensure the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting through meticulous preparation and self-review of financial statements and disclosures, adhering to GAAP standards. Collaborate with other departments to review footnote disclosures.

2. **Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive analyses and prepare formal documents for executive management, facilitating communication of business trends and issues.

3. **Research**: Develop well-documented accounting research papers, recommending essential accounting decisions and monitoring emerging regulations from authoritative bodies.

4. **Control**: Assist in managing the closing process and support the implementation of a comprehensive business control model across departments.

5. **External Audit**: Collaborate in all aspects of the external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate provision of necessary information.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in executing strategy-based financial analyses and understanding database structures.
  • Knowledge of journal entries, financial reporting, and general accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently with precision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven skills in research and presenting ideas effectively.
