Description:

1-5 Years' experience with either a hospital or large Doctor's office. This is for Multi Specialty Facility where they will be seeing individuals for many different types of subspecialtys, so a vast array of experience can be good.

They will be sitting at the front desk checking people in as they come to see different doctors. They will be getting their demographics and insurance information to get them registered in their multiple systems. It is a fast paced environment as they typically see patients a day. They will also be doing Insurance Verification: - Contact insurance company – verify benefits.

It would be nice if they understand HMO and PPO insurance plans and how they differ with how the insurance plans work.

They don't require any specific EMR system, they just need someone with experience using 2-3 systems at a time to get their work done.
