Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist
- High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited imaging technology training program
- Registration as an MR technologist is mandatory
- Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or outpatient environment
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Physical capability to lift and assist patients as necessary.
- Familiarity with GE 3T and Fuji/Hitachi 1.2T high field open MRI systems is preferred, although experience with other MRI equipment will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer gadolinium contrast agents to patients.
- Assist in clerical and reception duties as needed, including managing patient records.
- Engage in quality assurance monitoring and documentation efforts within the facility.- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance as directed, ensuring proper documentation.
- May be tasked with performing or assisting in other medical procedures as required and qualified.
