Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration and Management
    • Facilitates patient registration for emergency and outpatient services, guaranteeing the accuracy and completeness of information collected.
    • Maintains and updates patient records, ensuring all data is current and entered into the electronic database.
    • Handles payment collection, accurately logging transactions and preparing documentation for processing in line with established protocols.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Acts as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, assessing the purpose of their visit.
    • Manages incoming calls, providing accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
    • Takes detailed messages and ensures timely communication with relevant personnel.
  • Administrative Support
    • Coordinates appointment scheduling in accordance with established procedures, utilizing both manual and automated systems.
    • Performs various clerical duties, including copying, faxing, and mail distribution.
    • Monitors inventory of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Qualifications Required:
  • Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare office setting.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including typing at least 50 words per minute and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • All candidates must successfully complete a TB test, drug screening, and physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems is preferred.
