Location: Reston, Virginia
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified MRI Imaging Specialist with:
- High school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of an accredited imaging technology training program;
- Registration as an MR technologist is mandatory;
- Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or outpatient environment;
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists;
- Capability to lift and assist patients as necessary.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in GE 3T and Fuji/Hitachi 1.2T high field open systems, although experience with other MRI equipment will also be taken into account.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer gadolinium to patients as required.
- Familiarize yourself with the clerical and reception areas, providing assistance when necessary, including managing patient records.
- Engage actively in quality assurance monitoring and documentation efforts.- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance as instructed, ensuring proper documentation.
- May be tasked with performing or assisting in other medical procedures as directed and qualified.
