Position Title:
MRI Technologist

Location:
Reston, Virginia

Qualifications Required:
• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist
• High school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of an accredited imaging technology training program
• Current registration as an MR technologist
• Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or outpatient environment
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Ability to assist in lifting and transferring patients when necessary.

• Familiarity with GE 3T and Fuji/Hitachi 1.2T high field open MRI systems is preferred, though experience with other MRI systems will also be considered.


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer gadolinium contrast agents to patients.

• Assist in clerical and reception duties as needed, including managing patient records.

• Engage in quality assurance monitoring and documentation efforts.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance as instructed, ensuring proper documentation.
• May be assigned to perform or assist with additional medical procedures as directed and qualified.
