Position Overview

The Accounts Payable team is looking for an intern to join their team and assist in providing legendary support for over 700 company restaurants, our Support Center and suppliers This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable exposure and experience to accounting systems and processes in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

Work with suppliers, business partners and department leadership optimizing pay terms, digital invoicing and use of the supplier portal to improve invoice efficiencyOral and electronic communications both internal and external regarding invoice status, payment inquiries and account updatesMay assist with month-end close activities including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations and reportingParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assignedAssist with processing of invoices in accordance with established proceduresProvide support with reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies by researching duplicate payments, invoice errors and outstanding supplier balances Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
