Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all invoices from various sources are processed accurately and efficiently within the organization's Accounts Payable system, while also delivering exceptional customer service to vendors, clients, and team members.

  • Efficiently process incoming invoices from various sources.
  • Review invoices for accuracy in data entry, necessary approvals, and proper coding, making corrections as needed.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with inquiries and issues related to Accounts Payable through various communication channels.
  • Investigate vendor questions and resolve Accounts Payable discrepancies.
  • Conduct research on supplier statements to ensure timely payment of outstanding items.
  • Support vendor management, including onboarding new vendors into the Accounts Payable system.
  • Facilitate payments through multiple methods, including checks and electronic transfers.
  • Process refunds for residents and assist communities and staff with related inquiries.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in clerical tasks, data entry, Accounts Payable, and customer service in a related setting is required.
  • Familiarity with ERP or Accounting Software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
