A full-time Senior Accounting Specialist position is currently available, operating Monday through Friday with standard office hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. We are looking for a qualified Senior Accounting Specialist to enhance our financial team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee and execute AP/AR transactions with precision.
  • Microsoft Excel: Employ advanced Excel capabilities for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Job Costing: Support job costing processes within the construction sector.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize various software tools, including Computer Ease.
  • Payroll: Manage payroll processing effectively.
  • Month-End Close: Guarantee accurate financial reporting during the month-end closing process.
  • Administrative Functions: Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A degree in Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience in AP/AR is essential.
    • Background in job costing and the construction industry is highly advantageous.
    • Prior payroll experience or a willingness to learn is necessary.
    • Experience with month-end closing procedures is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is crucial. Familiarity with Computer Ease is a plus.
  • Other Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills are important.
  • Successful completion of a federal background check is mandatory.
