Human Resources Assistant provides support to the Information Analytics HR organization. The HR Assistant will deliver HR services in a timely, effective manner. The HR Assistant is repsonsble for coordinating new hire onboarding, leave tracking, reporting & documentation, responding to and tracking to completion basic employee questions, and other administrative tasks in support of Information Analytics Human Resources. Handles a range of inquiries and communications with employees, PMO members, and Corporate HR. Handles employee-sensitive material. Provides policy interpretation.

  • Provide Workday support to Information Analytics HR team to include reporting and monitoring organization structures in workday to ensure alignment.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding new hire assimilations – send reminders regarding 30-, 60-, and 90-day follow-ups.
  • Coordinates weekly New Hire Orientations sessions – sends invitations, participates on calls, and monitors attendance.
  • Assists Information Analytics HR team with status update reporting for Corporate HR initiatives. Includes but is not limited to Performance Management and Corporate level training initiatives.
  • Coordinates with program HR leads regarding tracking and monitoring Leave of Absences.
  • Ensures that new hires are transitioning to active employee status in workday on a timely basis.
  • Coordinates dissemination of HR related communications to employees Payroll, Company Announcements Employment posters and wage determination notifications
  • Assists in developing and disseminating employee communications, as needed.
  • Assists in monitoring I-9 tracking for completion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in office type setting
  • Experience with HRIS systems, workday preferable.
  • HS diploma or equivalency
  • Knowledge of Service Contract Act regulations and demonstrated experience with SCA contracts.
  • Proficiency with excel reporting, Microsoft word, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior HR Generalist experience
  • SPHR, PHR or equivalent certification
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and/or Workday HRIS systems
