The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Support Specialist (Hourly) to deliver customer and systems support for its Human Resource information systems and services. This position is based in Richmond, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive customer and systems support for the HRIS and related services.
  • Ensure accurate data entry, content management, and essential administrative assistance.
  • Assist in structured testing and analysis of HR systems under development.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for system enhancements and related support processes.
  • Support system access, functionality, and training for both internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks.

  • Familiarity with Human Resources and HRIS technology solutions.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and records.
  • Experience in managing customer inquiries and providing issue resolution, training, and reporting for various HR systems.
  • Strong prioritization skills and effective communication with diverse customers and stakeholders.

Additional Considerations

  • A combination of training, experience, or education in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
