Description:

Coordinates and has direct responsibility for a program, project, event or program. Creates and implements administrative systems to manage area of responsibility. Serves as main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, academic collaborators. Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget and plans. May maintain a web page, website, or program materials. Requires 2 to 3 years of related experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction. Able to plan, prioritize, and track work. Basic or better proficiency on common office software.

The Office of Physical Resources & Planning (OPRP) provides complete and integrated planning and design services, construction management, and building renewal, maintenance, and operations management to maintain the physical resources of the FAS campus, FAS facilities portfolio includes 250+buildings.

Provide administrative and logistical support to several OPRP Senior Leaders. Manage complex calendars including large and small meetings. Provide scheduling support for other OPRP staff. Member of the OPRP Administrative Staff Team, primary reception coverage person for front office. Provide general administrative support including coordinating schedules, prepare agendas, assemble meeting materials, provide meeting coordination and support information. Assist with departmental archive filing.

Strong communication, interpersonal skills, customer service and attention to detail are key skills required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle various project, archiving files and calendaring for the Office of Physical Resources Sr. Leadership team and others at 60 JFK.
