Job Description:

The Bilingual Supply Chain Human Resource Business Partner (“HRBP”) at OSJL serves as a strategic advisor and supporter for the Distribution Center (“DC”), Transportation, and Food Services departments. This role champions positive change initiatives, identifies and cultivates top talent, and coaches leadership teams to foster a thriving company culture. The HRBP role spearheads recruitment efforts (both internally and externally) and development programs, ensuring a future-proof workforce. This role actively promotes associate engagement through impactful communication and proactive initiatives, fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, the role drives a high-performing culture by supporting leadership in effective performance management and internal development plans. This position also plays a crucial role in workforce planning and compliance, ensuring alignment with Company values, Human Resources (“HR”) practices, and all relevant legal regulations. The role acts as an advisor on compensation and benefits, contributing to attracting and retaining top talent within the Supply Chain division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of HR for Supply Chain.
  • Coach business partners on optimal organizational design, development, and performance management plans to address associate relations, policy issues, and compliance (i.e., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, including, but not limited to, succession planning for leadership roles, and retention. Foster a diverse workforce.
  • Champion a positive associate relations culture with high engagement, enablement, and retention. Leverage communication channels and best practices to keep associates connected.
  • Manage compensation plans, wage, and salary administration (i.e., base pay, incentives, non-cash programs) adhering to corporate standards and in partnership with the Compensation team.
  • Oversee the position-planning system, ensuring accurate job descriptions, job analysis, accountabilities, and task analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as OSJL standards.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by providing guidance on all HR activities. Develop and deliver training sessions on HR topics, onboarding, associate development, diversity & inclusion, and compliance.
  • Participate in college and professional recruiting.
  • Manage DC HR associate performance, providing coaching, feedback, and reviews. Mentor and train new and existing team members.
  • Delegate tasks, follow up with team members, and assist with hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in writing, reading and speaking Spanish is required
  • .Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
  • .6 or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Associate Relations.Human Resources experience must include HR Generalist, operational experience, and change leadership as well as cultural development focus
  • .2 or more years of supervisory experience is required
  • .Knowledge of federal and state HR laws are required
  • .Previous experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment is preferred
  • .Knowledge of HR software applications is preferred
  • .Demonstrated experience partnering with business partners to solve business and operational issues through the application of progressive people systems practices
  • .Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
