Position Overview

Role: Human Resources Specialist

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Employment Status: Non-exempt

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (additional hours may be necessary for payroll tasks)

Working Hours: 8am-5pm CST

Compensation: Starting at $55,100

Role Summary:

The Human Resources Specialist at Iowa Donor Network will oversee various HR functions, including benefits management, payroll administration, and compliance efforts. Ideal candidates will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving capabilities, and a strong commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer HR support and guidance to employees and management.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Facilitate performance management initiatives.
  • Maintain HR records and produce reports as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in HR.
  • PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
