Position Summary:
We are looking for a Human Resources Support Specialist to provide assistance in various HR functions including recruitment, employee selection, benefits administration, workplace safety, and compensation management.
- Facilitate the execution of organizational initiatives related to employee relations.
- Lead and support recruitment efforts for hourly staff.
- Organize training sessions on HR technologies and software.
- Oversee performance evaluations and salary adjustments.
- Manage benefits enrollment processes and COBRA notifications.
- Provide support for special projects and administrative duties as required.
- Update employee records and maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Ensure HR bulletin boards and databases are kept current.
Required Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of HR/Payroll systems, proficiency in Excel and Word; capability to interpret professional literature and regulations, generate reports, and address practical challenges.
Educational Background and Experience:
A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree coupled with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment:
Office environment with occasional site visits to distribution areas.
