Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an Admissions Coordinator, who plays a crucial role in managing the admission procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients and their families. This position involves collecting, organizing, and disseminating information while serving as a primary resource for families. The Coordinator is responsible for facilitating a seamless admissions experience.


Shift 1: Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM PST, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST

Shift 2: Thursday to Monday from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM PST.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Handle Inquiries: Respond to general phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate and clear information about our program and services.
  • Engage Families: Actively engage with families to guide them through the admissions process effectively.
  • Documentation: Complete and manage all necessary documentation in a timely manner, ensuring electronic records are current and accurate.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to changing priorities throughout the day and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Data Entry: Enter data related to interactions with families and providers into the system.
  • Conduct Admissions: Oversee the admissions process from start to finish.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.


Basic Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health practices and insurance verification processes is advantageous.
