Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least two (2) years in executive support, administrative, or similar roles, preferably in a startup, insurance, or dynamic work environment, with a strong preference for familiarity with executive-level responsibilities.

Project Management:

  • Proven experience managing projects or working directly with an executive/project manager on managing projects.
  • Strong project tracking skills.

Communication and Documentation:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between Operational and Technical spaces.
  • Accurate and organized documentation skills.

Problem-Solving and Risk Mitigation:

  • Proven ability to address operational challenges with a collaborative approach to proposing solutions.
  • Agility and Resilience:Embrace the startup pace with agility, making swift decisions, and displaying resilience in the face of challenges. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and seek clarification on the fly will be a hallmark of your success.


Key Attributes:

  • 2+ years of experience in an Operations role, preferably in a startup, bonus points with experience at an insurance company, or in a similar capacity.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, facilitating communication across multiple departments and locations.

Location:

  • This hybrid role is based in North Carolina, primarily centered in Wilmington, NC, with in-office collaboration planned alongside the VP of Operations, and their Executive Assistant, at a co-working space for 1-2 days per week.
  • The applicant is expected to maintain a designated, secure remote work environment as an inherent requirement of the role.
  • Occasional travel to New York City is expected, mandated by the role on a quarterly basis at most.


Start Date:

  • We are looking for a candidate that can start in the role in mid-July 2024.

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
