LHH is hiring a HR Assistant on a temporary basis for a company in the Milwaukee Area. This would be a contract position, covering a 4 month LOA. Overall duty is to assist the HR team with day to day operations.

  • Maintain and update employee records, both physical and digital.
  • Manage HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the generation of HR reports as needed.
  • Support benefits enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
  • Administer leave requests and track attendance records.
  • Help distribute and update the employee handbook and other HR policies.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, reference verifications, and new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and assist in new employee integration.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed and filed.
  • Handle general HR department communications and inquiries.
Type: temporary for 4 months
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, potentially open to part time as well
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 an hour
