Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custom Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at HR Value Partners, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, understanding their specific needs, and providing customized solutions that meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Meet directly with customers to assess their packaging needs and support the development of new packaging projects.
- Account Maintenance: Maintain and service existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Product Presentations: Create and deliver formal presentations to customers regarding proposed products, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Quote Preparation: Prepare price quotes, outlining terms of sale, delivery timelines, and assisting with custom order preparations pending company approval.
- Product Claims and Complaints: Investigate and expedite product claims and complaints in line with company policies for safe and quality food packaging, while recommending corrective actions.
- Market Research: Keep the company updated on competitive products, promotional activities, sales strategies, pricing, and market policies.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and submit regular reports detailing activities, sales figures, expenses, etc., and develop sales forecasts and budgets as required by management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing sales or related fields.
- Education: Business degree is a plus, but not required.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel), and ability to operate office equipment such as voicemail systems, copiers, faxes, and calculators.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in B2B sales and direct sales from manufacturers is beneficial, and knowledge of plastics, packaging, design processes, and product design cycles is an advantage.
- Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites in the region is required.
