GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are actively seeking a self-motivated Senior Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Writer to support the marketing group to be responsible for writing/leading proposal and interview preparation for large/complex pursuits, collaborating with pursuit teams in developing win strategies, respond to Statement of Qualifications. Successful candidates must possess strong leadership qualities and analytical skills, thrive under pressure, and have great people skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


• Writes/leads qualification packages and proposals and leaves behind material for the most complex and largest pursuits. Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits original content for clarity, compliance, and key messages. May mentor other staff.


• Works with individual pursuit teams to develop strategies, including providing business intelligence to clients and competitors.


• Organizes and coaches the technical staff in the presentation phase.


• Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings.


• Supports client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings and participating in client service team meetings.


• May coordinate division public relations (PR) activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for the division newsletter, and coordinating project awards and other special PR-related projects.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tracking, management, and production of complex proposals
  • Message development guidance and support for project teams
  • Mentorship and development of marketing staff
  • Create and refine statements of qualifications, proposals, staff resumes, project sheets, client presentations, brochures, website news articles.
  • Assist in the search of RFP/RFQ and other opportunities
  • Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities, setting internal deadlines, coordinating with contributors, writing, editing, and meeting review
  • Maintain marketing-related records in the company database.
  • Work on special marketing projects as needed
  • Ensures all deadlines are met with a high level of quality
  • Completing quality assurance and control reviews of technical documents, including reviews for readability, consistency, clarity, and document compliance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

· Strategic thinking

· Ability to function in a team setting and provide and take direction from colleagues.

· Ability to collaborate with a range of professionals

· Ability to assess problems and implement solutions

· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets.

· Can-do attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere.

· 6 years of related experience in `proposal generation and/or marketing of high-quality and acute materials for architectural and/or engineering firms.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe, and other communications-related software programs.

· Strong technical writing abilities.

· Photography and videography skills a plus.

  • Graphic design skills: experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
