Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Proposal Specialist in the Energy sector. This pivotal role involves providing essential support throughout the bidding and contract negotiation phases. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including technical, financial, product management, and risk assessment, to oversee all facets of the proposal process. Your attention to detail, exceptional negotiation skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel will be invaluable in this dynamic and rewarding position. Knowledge and experience in analyzers and integration are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and scrutinize bids for various energy projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives.
2. Facilitate contract negotiations, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
3. Create and present detailed pricing proposals, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to craft competitive offers.
4. Apply your expertise in systems integration and process analyzers to enhance the development of effective project proposals.
5. Design and maintain Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID), contributing to the precision and quality of project submissions.
6. Utilize advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze data and produce insightful reports.
7. Respond to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) promptly and professionally, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information provided.
8. Oversee all elements of the bidding process, coordinating with technical, financial, product management, and risk review teams to ensure alignment and consistency across proposals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity within the Energy sector.
3. Proven track record in bid evaluation and contract negotiation.
4. Skilled in preparing bids and pricing proposals.
5. Strong understanding of systems integration and process analyzers.
6. Experience in developing and maintaining Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID).
7. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
8. Demonstrated ability to respond to RFQs in a timely and professional manner.
9. Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage all aspects of a bid.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
12. Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
