About the Role:
  • The Account Manager I works closely with senior team members and Account Executives to manage client accounts and facilitate day-to-day account operations.
  • This role involves extensive communication through various channels and assisting in the renewal process, client presentations, and fostering client relationships.
  • The Account Manager I will also collaborate with carrier contacts to deliver efficient services under supervision from senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and send proposals to insurance carriers, analyze results.
  • Review contracts, benefit plans, and compliance policies.
  • Maintain client files and address client inquiries.
  • Develop relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Assist in negotiations with carriers and renewal presentations.
  • Create reports, newsletters, and wellness programs for clients.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, industry trends, and healthcare reform.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Associates degree required, BA/BS preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of client service experience.
  • Appropriate licensing or ability to obtain if required.
