Weltman Lighting LLC is seeking a talented Senior Staff Accountant with expertise in Microsoft Great Plains, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and comprehensive accounting practices. We are looking for a dedicated professional with substantial experience in Microsoft Great Plains and a solid background in FP&A and accounting. This role is primarily onsite, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement following the initial training period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your extensive knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains to improve and optimize financial workflows.
  • Oversee and contribute to the FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Work closely with various teams to collect financial data and provide valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy.
  • Play a vital role in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support key strategic initiatives.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Analyst with a focus on Microsoft Great Plains.
  • In-depth understanding of FP&A methodologies and practices.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and GAAP.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial analysis tools, including SQL.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
