**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at Flynn Restaurant Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Accounts Payable Specialists, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and providing guidance and support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coach the AP Team: Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to the AP Specialists, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Payment Processing and Reconciliation: Oversee the end-to-end payment processing, reconcile outstanding cash, manage voids, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Large Invoice File Processing: Manage the processing of large invoice files, reconcile interfaces with the ERP system, and ensure timely processing of direct uploads.
  • Vendor Statement Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of vendor statements, ensure missing invoices are captured, and request payment in a timely manner.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert on payments, outstanding checks, and unclaimed property/escheatment process.
  • Interface Errors and Resolution: Manage interface errors and resolution related to invoice processing.
  • System Upgrade Testing: Participate in system upgrade testing and provide feedback to ensure seamless integration.
  • System Support: Provide system support for all invoice processing systems, guide the AP team on system use, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coupa Support: Assist the AP Specialist team with Coupa support, act as a liaison for invoice processing, and provide vendor correspondence.
  • Policy and Procedure Documentation: Document policy and procedures for the AP Specialist group.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Performance: Ensure the AP team meets internal and external deadlines, and assist leadership with ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or 10+ years of AP experience.
  • Experience: Seven or more years of AP experience with a proven track record of success, and two or more years of leadership and direct personnel supervision experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Software Skills: Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills, including experience with Coupa and SAP.
