Job Summary:
SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a Program Coordinator for Gender & Sexuality (GSD). The person in this role reports to the Associate Director of Student Union Leadership & Activities.

The Center for Gender & Sexual Diversity is the hub of the LGBTQIA+ student experience and the coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of comprehensive educational programs and will serve as an advisor and resource to LGBTQIA+ students at the SUNY Brockport.

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weeknights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting organization.

At least 1 year of relevant experience in the following areas: gender and sexuality diversity issues, intersectionality, and social justice based theoretical frameworks, or related field.

Demonstrated experience in developing and executing programs, workshops, and/or educational materials.
Ability to recruit, train and maintain a core group of volunteers.
Ability to identify and develop opportunities for student empowerment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Higher Education/Student Personnel, Social Justice Education, Counseling, Social Welfare, or a related field
Support/Discussion group facilitation skills and experience.

Work Schedule:
M-F, nights and weekends

Salary and Benefits:
The Minimum Salary for this position is $53,151.
