POSITION SUMMARY:

The Center for Youth Services is seeking an After School Program Manager to lead and manage a dynamic enrichment and academic support initiative for students. The program aims to provide educational and mentoring opportunities that foster essential life skills and promote social responsibility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and coordinate the overall program operations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and assess on-site program personnel.
  • Prepare and submit regular performance reports.
  • Promote a philosophy centered on positive youth development.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings and collaborative work groups.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, educational staff, and community partners.
  • Identify and develop innovative community service opportunities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, especially in fields related to education and leadership.
  • Experience in urban educational settings and K-8 classrooms is essential.
  • Proven ability to design and implement engaging activities that promote teamwork and leadership.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Personable and reliable, with the ability to connect with school-aged youth in diverse environments.
