Position Overview:
As a vital member of our academic community, the Library Services Coordinator plays a key role in facilitating the effective delivery of library resources and programs while ensuring the smooth operation of daily library functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive reference and bibliographic support, guiding users in navigating library resources and assisting in information retrieval both on-site and remotely.
  • Engage in library orientation and outreach initiatives, contributing to the development and presentation of educational workshops and seminars.
  • Oversee the daily management of library operations, including the upkeep of facilities, collection management, and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful library environment, promoting a culture of cooperation and collegiality among patrons and staff.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned, enhancing the overall functionality and efficiency of library services.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor of Arts degree is required.
  • Prior experience in a library setting is advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven ability to cultivate positive and collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and peers is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational capabilities are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of computer systems.
  • Extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be necessary.

Salary Range:
Maximum Salary: USD $36,992.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary: USD $30,368.00/Yr.
