Job Summary

The Brooklyn Public Library is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Associate to provide administrative support to the Adult Learning Program department. This grant-funded position will be responsible for managing enrollments, facilitating information sessions, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage NEDP enrollments, intakes, assessments, and scheduling of appointments
  • Enter data into electronic databases and maintain accurate records
  • Provide phone and email support to prospective patrons and students
  • Assist with program student follow-up and outcomes
  • Collaborate with program staff and participants to achieve program goals
  • Perform related duties as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and Saturdays

Working Conditions

This is an on-site position at the Brooklyn Public Library. The schedule may vary depending on the needs of the department.
