Position Overview:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to join the Repository Engineering team, which is part of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) division for Digital platform engineering. This position will be instrumental in supporting the ECM Center of Excellence Delivery teams with layered vendor production installation, administration, and ongoing production support. Key responsibilities include cloud transformation, mainframe application support, and ensuring delivery and production for critical customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize exceptional analytical skills to identify and resolve issues proactively, particularly for our content management platforms such as IBM FileNet.
  • Assist in deployments, troubleshooting, and operational activities for ECM COE applications.
  • Ensure all components operate consistently across environments defined in the Development Life Cycle.
  • Drive initiatives to minimize recovery time and enhance system efficiencies while reducing manual intervention on related tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end platform engineering capabilities, ensuring resilience, high performance, and availability of applications.
  • Oversee automation processes, execution, and result analysis to ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and client requirements.
  • Manage, coordinate, and communicate solutions and root cause analyses effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and support in developing automated software solutions that interface with both in-house and vendor-developed solutions via APIs and web services.
  • Take responsibility for production deployments, ensuring governance and controls are in place, acting as a gatekeeper for any changes in the production environment.
  • Continuously learn new tools and concepts in the platform engineering domain to implement automation and build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to maintain high levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Work with vendors and technical personnel to resolve issues and achieve optimal systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Adopt new technologies for key management, build resilient systems, implement security concepts, and develop microservices-based architectures.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and education.
  • 4+ years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (applications to infrastructure).
  • 4+ years of experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Service Oriented Architecture, or cloud-native technology stacks.
  • 3+ years of experience in environment test coordination, code deployment, release management, and communication.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle for cloud solutions, including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in troubleshooting incidents, identifying root causes, documenting problems, and implementing preventive measures.
  • Experience supporting technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications under the guidance of lead architects, including large-scale data processing.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with IBM FileNet Administration and Development.
  • Expertise in IBM Content Manager / Content Manager On Demand.
  • Understanding of cloud-native technologies and concepts.
  • 3+ years of experience in API or Microservices development.
  • 4+ years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management Solutions (ITSM).
  • Ability to lead and manage production goals, deadlines, and various metrics.
  • Ability to identify root-cause issues/improvement opportunities and design effective approaches.
  • Experience with a customer service mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • 4+ years of experience with distributed server platforms.
  • 4+ years of application production support experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Ansible, Prometheus, and cloud engineering concepts.
  • Experience implementing security concepts and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience leveraging platform tools for monitoring and alerting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of KMIP Encryption and/or S3 Storage.
  • Ability to adopt an expert engineering mindset and approach to learning; ready to tackle new technical challenges.
