Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and driven individual to take on the role of Technical Architect.

The Technical Architect will spearhead the design and development of the infrastructure and technical architecture for intricate, multi-system configurations across various environments. This role involves crafting the integration of hardware, operating systems, and connectivity for the targeted technological solutions while assessing and analyzing the technical requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.

This position may allow for remote work within Arizona, contingent upon the department's operational needs and consistent achievement of performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and sustain the Enterprise Architecture framework.
  • Offer architectural design recommendations aligned with organizational strategies, establishing standards and guidelines for technology solution designs.
  • Formulate and present recommendations that align with business and IT objectives, in accordance with the strategic roadmap.
  • Identify necessary hardware and software components for application implementation and provide guidance on their effective integration.
  • Determine how generic application components can be implemented, ensuring data accessibility, transaction integrity, and secure access.
  • Lead the development and execution of architecture standards and artifacts in a complex environment.
  • Identify and communicate risks associated with component or application implementation.
  • Define deployment strategies for all hardware and software components relative to applications.
  • Prepare solution architecture deliverables in line with enterprise standards and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the creation of project initiation documents, outlining objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expertise in developing high-volume, mission-critical applications in diverse environments for multi-user systems.
  • Proficiency in defining architectures that meet security, scalability, high availability, and network management requirements.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering techniques such as architecture modeling and trade-off analysis.
  • Understanding of business process modeling and re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of various architecture disciplines including Application, Data, Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Ability to specify system performance requirements and create flexible Application Programming Interfaces (API).
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture concepts and web/Restful services.
  • Proficient in multiple development languages and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAFe Agile Framework and relevant certification.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce PAAS, particularly Service Cloud.
  • Experience with Mulesoft and API integrations.
  • TOGAF Certification or equivalent.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
  • Bachelor's degree plus 10 or more years of programming and analysis experience (or equivalent).
  • Valid Level One fingerprint clearance card required for working with children and vulnerable adults.
  • Completion of background and reference checks.
