The Technical Architect will spearhead projects focused on the infrastructure design and technical architecture of intricate, multi-system configurations across various environments. This role involves crafting the integration of hardware, operating systems, and connectivity for optimal technology solutions while assessing and addressing the technical needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

This position may allow for remote work within Arizona, contingent upon departmental requirements and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance the Enterprise Architecture framework.
  • Offer architectural design recommendations aligned with organizational strategies, formulating technical architecture and establishing standards for technology solutions.
  • Present strategic recommendations that align with business and IT objectives, adhering to the established roadmap.
  • Identify necessary hardware and software components for application implementation and guide the proper integration of these components.
  • Assess how generic application components can be effectively utilized, ensuring data accessibility, transaction integrity, and secure access.
  • Lead the creation and enforcement of architectural standards and documentation in a complex environment.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks associated with component or application implementation.
  • Determine deployment strategies for all hardware and software components relative to applications.
  • Prepare architecture deliverables in line with enterprise standards and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of project initiation documents, defining objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in developing high-volume, mission-critical applications in diverse environments.
  • Expertise in defining architectures that meet security, scalability, and high availability requirements.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering techniques, including architecture modeling and trade-off analysis.
  • Familiarity with various architecture disciplines such as Application, Data, Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Strong skills in developing technical specifications, designs, and architecture artifacts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a diverse audience.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Framework and relevant certifications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce PAAS, Mulesoft, and API integrations.
  • TOGAF Certification or similar credentials.

All candidates must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify) and meet the necessary background and reference checks. A Bachelor's degree along with 10 or more years of programming and analysis experience is required.
