Contract Type: Long-term engagement

Key Responsibilities:

The Cloud Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructures with a focus on automation and security.
  • Develop lifecycle automation for various public cloud services utilizing Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible.
  • Manage vulnerabilities with a strong emphasis on adherence to SLAs, establishing processes for vulnerability management and scalable automation to ensure the security of production and non-production environments.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for all implemented solutions.
  • Monitor and report on various KPIs related to cloud infrastructure to the leadership team.
  • Provide on-demand production support on a rotational basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and security.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proficient in GCP services including Cloud Functions, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, IAM, Looker, and GCS.
  • Experience with Terraform for building cloud infrastructure, including module creation and state file management.
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-sufficient.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: GCP certifications are a plus.
