Position Overview

We are in search of a driven and seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license to spearhead our EV charging infrastructure initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid history of designing and executing groundbreaking EV charging solutions, coupled with robust project management and leadership capabilities to ensure project achievements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct EV charging infrastructure projects from initial concept through to final execution, guaranteeing compliance with project schedules, financial plans, and regulatory standards.
  • Offer expert technical direction on the design of EV charging systems, including site assessment and electrical distribution strategies.
  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Engage effectively with clients, contractors, utility providers, and other stakeholders to secure successful project results.
  • Ensure adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations throughout the design and implementation phases.
  • Remain informed about advancements in EV charging technologies and industry developments, integrating this knowledge into project frameworks.
  • Support business growth by identifying new project prospects and nurturing relationships with potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally with a specialization in EV charging infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including the NEC, and EV charging protocols (e.g., SAE J1772, CHAdeMO).
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong grasp of power systems, electrical distribution, and grounding techniques.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise and the ability to lead teams effectively.
