Amerant Bank is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager III to join our team.

About the Role:

The Corporate Banking Relationship Manager III will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our corporate clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and Cross-Sell Products: Promote and cross-sell various products and services to existing and potential customers to increase deposit and loan portfolio, bank revenues, and customer engagement.
  2. Personalized Attention: Provide personalized attention to all bank customers to provide better service, attract and retain new customers, and increase the presence of Amerant Bank in the market.
  3. Customer Wallet Share: Know and increase customer's wallet share to retain them and keep them engaged, increasing their lifetime value.
  4. Relationship Development: Develop and maintain Corporate Banking relationships with businesses established in their communities.
  5. Financial Solutions: Provide financial solutions to satisfy commercial business needs, establish new and/or develop existing deposit and loan relationships within this target market to achieve established production goals for assigned region.
  6. Credit Evaluation: Evaluate, monitor, analyze, and control overall quality of existing credit portfolio, including related depository relationships and their activity, and develop strategies to accommodate customer needs, focusing on adequate growth of relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, Formal credit training.
  • Seven or more years of Corporate or Middle Market banking experience in the areas of business development and managing diversified lending relationships.
  • Proven commercial lending and credit experience, analyzing financial statements, reviewing loan documentation and administration.
  • Successful track record in sales and business development.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
  • Proficient using MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be knowledgeable of operations and credit guidelines and policy, BSA, and other Banking regulations.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
