Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to join our team in the Tennessee Valley and Southeast Tennessee region. As a Business Developer, you'll play a key role in delivering program awareness, identifying opportunities, and achieving program participation to support energy savings goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to engage with local power companies, end-use customers, and TVA program staff.
  • Work closely with program management to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business development efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including program participants and market partners.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to support business development efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 6+ years of related experience, with a strong background in energy efficiency and commercial energy services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
