Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including building strong relationships with potential clients, developing effective sales strategies, closing deals, and providing post-sale service.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Client Relationships: Attend business meetings with prospective clients, promote IMA's products and services, and provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Carrier and Vendor Relationships: Develop strong relationships with carriers and vendors to support client coverage placement and renewal processes.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and practice leaders to bring current and emerging markets and products to the table.
- Production Partnership: Participate in finalist and/or prospect meetings in partnership with production staff, and contribute to the development of prospect requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Experience: 5+ years of similar or related experience required, broker experience preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of self-funded and fully insured plans.
- Skills: Demonstrates above-average business acumen, positive mindset, and ability to adapt in stressful situations.
- Licensure: Attains and maintains Life and Health licensure.
- Education: 4-year degree in business or related discipline preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: The hiring range for this position is $160,000-$200,000.
