About the Role

Catalyze is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the commercial and industrial renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business executives and stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients and cultivate new business from existing clients and actively seek new partnership opportunities
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the client experience and drive business growth
  • Identify and develop new markets and opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to support business development efforts
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development progress and results
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and/or account management, with a strong background in renewable energy
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial and industrial renewable energy, with a focus on solar energy
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial and industrial renewable energy market, with a focus on solar energy
