Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Process Operator to join our team at Aurorium. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including monitoring and controlling process parameters to ensure optimal product quality and yield.
  • Conduct regular process samples and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, optimize production efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as process control, quality assurance, and safety procedures.
  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of production equipment, and perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document and report all production activities, including batch records, quality control data, and equipment maintenance records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required to support the production team and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or related industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds and move 250 lb. drums, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.
