Job Overview

The Lead Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks that range from basic maintenance to more complex repair work.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the upkeep of plant facilities and grounds.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues in production machinery.
  • Assist in the installation and servicing of various equipment, including motors and pipelines.
  • Utilize mechanic's tools and welding equipment for the fabrication and maintenance of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Participate in the assembly and installation of specialized structures and equipment as required.
  • Perform repairs and replacements on pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Work safely in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Operate lift trucks and aerial lifts with a focus on safety.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices at all times.
  • Maintain knowledge of tools and equipment used in mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined above. The following qualifications are required:
  • High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of two years of relevant experience or training.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Work Schedule:
Monday – Saturday (with occasional Sundays) from 5am to 3:30pm.

Compensation:
$30 per hour.
