Job Summary

The 2nd Shift Production Operator is responsible for utilizing various machine equipment to efficiently and safely manufacture NARSTCO products. This role requires collaboration with team members to produce high-quality products that meet customer needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform production activities for the processing of all NARSTCO products to the fullest extent required.
  • Follow instructions from Production Foreman and Team Leads.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Work at a reasonable pace and within quality standards to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist new employees in safe and efficient production, including following standard operating procedures and instructional materials.
  • Exercise the utmost degree of integrity, honesty, good faith, and fidelity to the Company, in dealings with the Company and its customers, employees, suppliers, and other public entities.
  • Provide other reasonable services as the Company may request from time to time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift.
  • One to two years' experience in Manufacturing.
  • One to two years' Forklift operation and certification a bonus.
  • Basic reading and mathematics skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in working punch press, form press, forklift, using calipers, reading a tape measure, operation of PLC equipment, automated machinery, grinders, and machine fabrication tools preferred.
  • Basic maintenance knowledge such as tightening and loosening bolts etc. is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and dimensions as required for quality.
  • Ability to work well with tools and machinery required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, lifts, bends, and moves objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposed to all weather conditions including very hot and very cold weather.
  • Exposed to loud noise.
