Position Overview

The Senior Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and environmental sustainability within cement manufacturing facilities. This position involves collaborating with various teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Safety Leadership**: Champion health and safety initiatives in alignment with regional and plant objectives, contributing positively to safety programs.

2. **Technical Coordination**: Lead efforts to enhance the technical capabilities of the plant, ensuring optimal performance through collaboration with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams.

3. **Performance Analysis**: Continuously assess equipment and system performance, documenting findings and proposing actionable solutions for improvement, focusing on energy consumption and overall equipment efficiency.

4. **Standard Operating Procedures**: Develop and implement standard operating procedures, providing training and coaching to operational staff to ensure consistent application.

5. **Technical Support**: Offer technical guidance to production, quality, and environmental teams, utilizing audits and systematic approaches to evaluate operations and processes.

6. **Alternative Fuels Utilization**: Promote the use of alternative fuels and raw materials, providing expertise to assess their impact on operations and developing strategies to mitigate any adverse effects.

7. **Project Management**: Conduct feasibility studies for proposed modifications, overseeing the commissioning and optimization of new installations.

Qualifications

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering or related fields.

- **Experience**: A minimum of 1-3 years in cement manufacturing or related process industries.

- **Skills**: Proficient in SAP, TIS, HLC, and Microsoft Office; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- **Travel**: Willingness to travel nationally as required.
