RailWorks is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating various machine equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely and follow all required safety protocols and procedures.
  • Carry out production activities for the processing of all NARSTCO products to the highest quality standards.
  • Follow instructions from Production Foreman and Team Leads to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work at a reasonable pace to meet production efficiency and quality standards.
  • Assist new employees in safe and efficient production, including following standard operating procedures and instructional materials.
  • Exercise the utmost degree of integrity, honesty, and good faith in dealing with the Company, customers, employees, suppliers, and other public entities.
  • Provide other reasonable services as requested by the Company.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years' experience in manufacturing.
  • One to two years' experience in forklift operation and certification is a bonus.
  • Basic reading and mathematics skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with punch press, form press, forklift, calipers, tape measure, PLC equipment, automated machinery, grinders, and machine fabrication tools is preferred.
  • Basic maintenance knowledge, such as tightening and loosening bolts, is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and dimensions for quality.
  • Ability to work well with tools and machinery required.
Working Conditions

Frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, lifts, bends, and moves objects up to 50 pounds. Exposed to all weather conditions, including very hot and very cold weather. Exposed to loud noise.
