Position Overview: Full-Time, hourly compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all guest registration and departure processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Establish and uphold communication protocols among front desk personnel, guests, and various hotel departments.
- Maintain exemplary customer service standards, with a strict policy against inadequate service.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise the reservation system for individual and group bookings.
- Possess a thorough understanding of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, and promotional packages.
- Organize front desk operations and implement effective systems to keep staff focused and productive.
- Participate in employee management tasks, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and terminations.
- Educate front desk staff on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and hotel offerings.
- Encourage growth in transient sales.
- Assist in budget management and efficient staff scheduling.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in hotel front desk operations preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
- Possession of necessary government licenses or certifications.
- Strong understanding of front office procedures.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience with cash handling is required.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
