Position Overview: Full-Time, hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all guest registration and departure processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish and uphold communication protocols among front desk personnel, guests, and various hotel departments.
  • Maintain exemplary customer service standards, with a strict policy against inadequate service.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise the reservation system for individual and group bookings.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, and promotional packages.
  • Organize front desk operations and implement effective systems to keep staff focused and productive.
  • Participate in employee management tasks, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and terminations.
  • Educate front desk staff on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and hotel offerings.
  • Encourage growth in transient sales.
  • Assist in budget management and efficient staff scheduling.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years experience in hotel front desk operations preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
  • Possession of necessary government licenses or certifications.
  • Strong understanding of front office procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Experience with cash handling is required.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
