Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled RN Emergency Services Manager to lead our clinical operations team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the 24/7 operations of our emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the emergency department, including staffing, patient flow, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that promote excellent patient care and safety.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of RNs and other healthcare professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure optimal team performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and staffing plans to ensure efficient and effective department operations.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices in emergency nursing, applying this knowledge to improve department operations and patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- 5 years of nursing experience, including progressive leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field.
- Coursework/Training: Formal coursework in management, finance, and other administrative subjects.
- National Certification from recognized professional organization in relevant field of clinical expertise.
