About the Role:

Ashland Hills Hotel is seeking a seasoned Banquet Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our banquet department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly, managing staff, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in banquet or event management, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential in this role, as you will be working closely with staff, vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the banquet department
  • Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and to the highest standards
  • Manage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working order

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in banquet or event management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Experience with event planning software
  • Experience managing a team of staff members
